Abstract
It is difficult to diagnose and treat cervicogenic headache. Many patients are suffering from intractable pain for a long time. We report two cases who suffered from cervicogenic headaches, and experienced pain relief after injections of botulinum toxin A. They presented at our outpatient clinic and got medication, occipital nerve, cervical epidural and cervical medial branch blocks. However, there was no symptomatic improvement, we performed botulinum toxin A injection therapy. 50 units of Clostridium botulinum toxin A were injected along the superior nuchal line from the mastoid process to the external occipital protuberance. Patients have come for a follow-up for months without any discomfort.
